Hi. Quick question as my friend intends to put a Canon 40d on ebay tomorrow if he doesn't hear from me: used 40d or used (but newer) 600d? If I don't take the 40d then a 600d is what I would be likely to hunt for second hand in a year or two. I know that the image quality of the 40d is better than my 350d (much better) having borrowed it a few times but are the newer 600/650 etc better again? 10MP plays 18MP? It's an old design now, and my main worry is that the newer entry level is actually a better camera for image quality. I know the body of a 600d won't feel as robust as the 40d: that doesn't bother me. I'd be coming from a 350d remember! smile Thanks in advance!

Can get a 60d forv cheap now. Otherwise a 600d I went from 350d to60d but my gf has a 600d and it's great only thing I didn't like was lack of LCD. Used 40d many times but 600d just makes better images, all imo

What's your budget? I have a 60D with battery grip lying around that I don't need.
