A bit of camera advice needed....
Discussion
I am an enthusiastic photographer with a Leica M8 and a bundle of lenses. I really enjoy using it and am generally delighted with a decent percentage of my shots. I'm keeping the Leica of course.
I'd now like to buy a semi serious DSLR, but a point and shoot.
There are sooo many choices that I've become totally confused.
My two front runners are the Sony Nex and the Pentax Q - to give you an idea of where I'm looking. A sort of slightly retro, nice to handle reasonably decent 'toy'.
Photos would be largely portrait and static car shots.... I don't want a big digital camera back, it's most definitely a little funky thing I'm after.
Would some kind soul give me some advice based on my rather odd criteria?
As is often the case with a new camera, there's nothing to photograph!
However, I'm very pleased with it - once I convert to DNG the photos seem to smooth out a bit. Looking forward to taking a few shots at The Revival.
These two shots are straight out of the camera - but reduced in size for posting
