That's what the Canon refurb shop on ebay occasionally sells the 24-105 for and they sell out very quickly so that looks like a good deal to me.

55-250 is a bargain for someone who wants to add to their kit lens with a decent zoom lens, I think mine is really good.

I've heard good things about the 55-250 IS II and that's the cheapest I've seen it for a long time.
