Hi,

I'm going to the Isle of Wight for a week at the end of the month and was wondering if there are many nice places to take some photos?

I've thought of trying to get either sunrise or sunset pics but would also like some landscapes.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you

The East of the Island in the morning; and the West in the evening...

Culver Down (between Sandown and Bembridge) is a good high spot for the morning, as great views East and West; and one of several old millitary forts. Likewise Brading Down, which is only a short trip away.

Then heading West; Shanklin old village is picturesque, and is near Shanklin Chine. Further West, Blackgang Chine will give you some good views of the area and Hannover Point Car Park (know to locals as Compton) is a good stop if the weathers good or if the surf is up. The Tennison Trial between Freshwater and Shalcombe gives good views.

Let me know if you want a list of decent pubs.
