Which DSLR for £250 (used)
Discussion
Hi all,
Currently using a Canon EOS 350D at the moment which i have had for around 3.5 years; however i am now looking to upgrade and take my photography skills a bit further. I also have the EFS 18-55mm and EFS 55-250mm lenses so i will obviously be sticking with a Canon. Which do you think would be a worth upgrade, the 550D has caught my eye but would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Thanks.

Personally I say lens is more important than body but if you want a new body should be able to get a 40D or 50D within that budget. Get a low mileage one and it should sort you out nicely. If you're not needing hi-res then checkout an old 1D Mk2N body. Hammer nails in with the thing. My 2p anyway

What is it about the 350D that doesn't work/is holding you back? What areas are you looking for improvement in?
To answer your first question....Firstly, the camera is not working 100%; the buttons which allow me to view the settings, delete photo's and view my pictures are slow to respond or in some cases do not work at all. Secondly; i am having a real issue with blurry shots at the moment when taking still objects (mainly cars), i have compared photo's from 12 months ago which were took with roughly the same set up/configuration but they appear to me much much clearer and crisper. I am not sure if the shutter is in need of replacing and i don't have any way of knowing how many pics my 350D has took. I am making sure i am holding the camera correctly and have resorted to purchasing a Digital Photo manual, following all the tips and advice and i am not having much luck.
Improvement; i would like to have a HD Video facility on my replacement camera (the 350D has no video feature) and for motorsport photography i want a camera which has a higher FP/S (the 350D currently operates at 2.8 FP/S whereas a 550D by contrast operates at 3.7 FP/S so roughly 30% quicker)
