cheap studio backdrop and stand

Morning,

I'm getting increasingly frustrated with my inability to find a decent background and so thought I'd shell out for one. just for fun and experiments you understand.

Looking on the bay I came across

this which has the added benefit of some potentially not very good lights.

Anyone bought this sort of thing before? I'd appreciate some feedback.

I would not recommend fabric. When I used it, it constantly got creased. I use vinyl now. I got a sheet of vinyl black on one side and white on the other rolled on an aluminium tube 2m x 5m for about seventy eight quid from Bessel in swadlincote.

Duvetyne is the best material to use really. It is like velvet and one of the most light absorbing fabrics you can get - which is what you want.
