Couple of questions

Does anyone know of a place to get my camera cleaned in Cornwall? I seem to have something on my sensor and I am not confident in trying to do myself. It's a Canon 5d mk2 if that makes any difference.

Also can anyone recommend a good online print company, or one in Cornwall? I am lucky enough to have had two requests to buy prints but never done before!

Have you got a rocket blower? I'd give that a go before sending it off for cleaning.

I got mine done 'professionally' twice - all they did was move the dust around! Then I hoovered it (yes really) and it was perfect

Yep, tried rocket blower with no joy. I have meticulously cleaned all my lenses and filters but still get dust spots.

I take my Canon 40D to London Camera Exchange in Cheltenham, because I'm impressed with the shop. OK so it isn't Cornwall, but I would hope any reasonable Camera shop can do this without the hassle of sending it away. But I don't know any in Cornwall unfortunately.

PH has evoved several standard answers.

One is 'Miele', one is 'Nuke it from orbit' and another is 'Photobox'.

No.3 appears to be the pertinent one in this case

I used DSCL for printing, I found them better than Photobox when I did back to back tests.
