Adobe Hacked...

Be aware that 150,000,000 user account details / passwords / card details may be out there following a hack of Adobe's servers.

Worth a pre-emptive password change & keep an eye on your bank / credit card statements.

Yeah, and Adobe have changed everyone's passwords on all the other sites that their afected users used the same email/password combination. Oh, and they changed all 150M impacted credit cards too.

So, is it 3M, 38M or 150M adobe? Or is it even more???
Why as was the password encryption sime and repetitive (the hackers have identified the number of people using the same password etc.) Why was the password hint in plain text in the same database (and I read that it allowed the hint to repeat the password!)

Still, I'm sure it won't impact on the uptake of the Creative Cloud in anyway...

Looks like Facebook are taking things seriously and warning users if their same email & password combinations were found in the Adobe hack...

We've just had notification of this from Adobe and they recommended that we change our passwords through a secure! link. They do not change your password!

Oh and just to put it in context I work for one of the largest global engineering companies who have many adobe users so why did they leave us for 2 months before notification!!

From what I understand from their notice they have hacked the Adobe site and the warning is out for those who have their credit card details against their personal details, seems like the CC users could be at risk because of their monthly payments!

Apparently a work colleague has an Adobe account that has been hacked and also had unauthorised payments taken off his card since. Because he has had to cancel the card, he was late making his payment to Adobe - who have since suspended his account due to non payment

They did change every one passwords.
I got my notice the next day.
Hence why they send you a link to change your password as you would. Not get in with your old one.

I think we are saying the same thing, differently, I changed my password not Adobe, they advised everyone to make the change for our security

My email was one of the ones affected by the hack. I received no notification and had to change my password manually (only found out about it this week!).
