I haven't seen a thread in here dedicated to images taken at PistonHeads Sunday Services' or other events so how about it!

I have to say i found photography at the SS events really challenging, there are people everywhere casting shadows/standing in your way/ parking their everyday car in the middle of some exotica! (that'll be me then!)

My shots are always pretty poor from these events, i'm no car photographer anyway but i almost didn't bring my camera last weekend!

Here are a few snaps from the MB world SS, please add your own from any PH event and any tips or advice on making interesting photo's would be great too. Always looking to improve!

It's difficult, I usually hang around till the end as it thins out and it's easier to get pictures. Failing that you have to be a bit creative. Here's a selection from the Sunday Services I've been to. Learning how to clone stuff out is helpful too, as the first shot below had two people standing behind the car.

Nice shots janesy b.

You have a point about waiting until it thins out, the only problem is if all the interesting cars are the ones that leave hehe

Being able to clone out parts is definitely an advantage, The shot of the AMG merc i posted has a bloke stood to the left of the image. I tried to clone him out but it was taking ages and didn't feel like the shot was worth spending so much time on. I don't think i would have been able to convincingly rebuild the kidney grill of the BMW he was standing in front of either.
