corrupt files

Moved my 2 year olds Xmas at the grandparents pics from my phone to the memory card to save space on my phone. Now they're all corrupted so can't view any more. Is there a way to fix this. Not the end of the world, just some nice memories.

a) How did you move them ? Your photo viewer may just be confused about locations and not seeing the new versions. Moving them back may fix that.
b) can you view them on a PC/Mac instead of the phone ? (Either with the phone in storage mode, or by using a proper card reader)

Under memory, it says move to card to save space on the phone. Then I tried moving them onto the laptop via usb to save them. Now can't view on either. I done have a micro sim card reader. Could that help?

First port of call, for me, would be a card reader to check the filesystem on the card. Then Photorec or Recuva on both the card and the phone (connected in storage mode, and recovering to the PC's hard disc) to see if the photos can be carved back.
