I have been browsing ebay to see what versions of one of my lenses sell for to get an idea how much the cost to upgrade would be.

The quality of some of the photo's taken by people you would think are photographers is staggeringly bad

Exhibit A

This is not an expensive lens in the whole scheme of things but would have cost the original owner about £630. You would think that someone prepared to spend that sort of money on camera gear would manage a better photo then that of something they are trying to sell!

Its a bit like seeing a advert for a porsche for sale with ling longs on the wheels hehe

I've been guilty of this. Selling my camera to upgrade and only have my phone to take a picture of it.

I usually chose better lighting than that though.

Come on, it's a lens. Looks exactly like 100k exactly the same lenses. Sure, the photo could be better but in no way would stop me from bidding on it.

I sold a nice camera because I realised I was crap at photography and didn't really enjoy it.

I didn't even use a photo smile
