Full disclosure - I've never used it so don't know how great it is. From what I've seen it's probably powerful enough for most non-production needs (even does motion tracking). Guessing all the heavy-weight features are in the more expensive Ultimate version. Not bad for free though

I will admit that Im tired after a long day, but I couldn't see where to actually download the application or, in fact, take it further in any way...

There's a button in the lower right of the screen, think it asks you to post about it on facebook / twitter and create an account. They then email you a link

Thank you. I always ignore any social media links now. Everything seems to have a share/show off button. I will be able to share or flush soon, at the rate that things are progressing...

My eyes glaze over when the usual twitter, facebook, etc. buttons appear too

Not a fan of the 'why don't you tweet about the thing you bought' culture. Think social media can be decent for actual content or discussion, seems to be almost immeasurably diluted by the general froth though

Reading a bit more into this, looks like it supports up to 1080p which is pretty good. Ultimate supports up to 4k if course
