...are awesome smile

Just wanted to share it with you after receiving the new 35mm f/1.4. I still have the older 50mm and had another zoom before so I can see the progress.

I have to say, IMHO it feels better made than the Canon's L despite having more plastic.
I know - not as good weathersealing but I don't tend to shoot in pouring rain.
AF is INSTANT

I feel like driving one of latest KIAs being shocked that they caught up with the germans smile

Are you referring to their 'Art' series?
They are reputedly that good, Sigma are targeting the Zeiss lens market
over and above the Nik/Can lens buyers.

They are supposed to bringing out some supertele primes too which sound interesting.

Disclaimer: this was on a forum, so may be bullst but I do like the idea of a more affordable 300 2.8!

Yes. 35mm f/1.4 is one of them. Can't wait to test it tomorrow!

You're going to love that Sigma 35mm f/1.4. I got one in the spring last year after spending ages trying to decide between that and the Canon L version. I'm so pleased that I went with the Sigma. Really great lens with very fast and reliable focusing, which is vital for my job.
