Selling old kit (Rolleiflex)

Quickie. An old friend's dad was a skilled keen amateur photographer and has recently passed away. He's left all his kit, which his wife (friend's mum) doesn't know what to do with. I have been and had a look at it and the centrepiece is a Rolleiflex 2.8f, with a number of accessories (pistol grip, filters, leather case, what looks like an attachment to allow it to take 35mm film). There is also a Nikon FM2 with a collection of lenses, a large Metz flashgun, a very old enlarger with a couple of enlarger lenses (one by Nikon) and a collection of sundries (light meters, filters, films, lesser flashguns and so on). All is untested but was in regular use up until a year or so ago and seems to be in excellent condition with original boxes, manuals and whatnot.
London Camera Exchange have offered £500 for the Rollei and said they don't want the Nikon or anything else.
What are the other options for getting rid of the stuff (eBay is the obvious one but quite a lot of hassle)? Also, does this seem like a fair price for the Rollei? eBay suggests that they change hands for quite a lot more but there is, of course, the hassle factor.
All advice welcomed. The owners are very dear friends and I'd like to help as much as I can. They aren't after every penny they can get, but I'd like to see them get a fair price.

I'd probably take the dealer offer on the Rollei to avoid the eBay mongs. The enlarger kit your best off on eBay but don't expect a lot basically your looking for someone to collect it from you, its not got a value these days unless its something special. I've got a full darkroom I keep meaning to put up for sale and I suspect it will fetch circa 30 quid if I'm lucky.

Ebay is absolutely fine for expensive Camera gear. It just not seem to attract the same mongs that low priced stuff does. In addition, the ebay market is very strong for manual camera gear that has excellent quality photos taken of all parts, especially the optics. I think this because the old stuff is so well built, it's not like buying a modern lens with VR autofocus and million tiny unfixable electronic things that could be wrong. Browsing some random Rollei auctions they seem to be attracting a healthy level of bidding.

I've just had the more or less the same thing happen. A family friend approached me about his friends camera gear, I think he wanted me to help sell it, but with all my own stuff I've left for months to get up on ebay I couldn't be bothered to be completely honest.
I listed everything for him with rough prices from ebay and found a swap meet/sale on at a local club next month. I did think about LCE, but wasn't sure if they would want a lot of it.
Most interesting part is a Rolleiflex SL66 (late 70s I reckon) with Zeiss Sonnar 85mm f2.8 and Pro-Tessar 115mm f4 lenses.
There's also two Canon A1 bodies with some cheap FD teles, and a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex with two lenses, what looks like 1960s lightmeter and flash, some more modern flash guns and ring flashes, plus a load of filters etc. Each set of stuff is in it's own case, so it might be worth getting rid of each as a lot. If Ebay is ok for the Rollei perhaps I should list it for him, and get a little profit out myself.
