I always used to use Jessops proper in store labs, but obviously thats out now most of the stores are gone and I don't have one near enough.
Have used the likes of snap fish for small prints, but not for 10x8 plus for framed prints, any good suggestions? Would be matt finish. Longevity is key as its for a frame.

Many in here use http://photobox.co.uk They are cheap and reliable. Surprisingly good results.
I'm not a fan of Photobox, their speed and service is great, but I wasn't too impressed by the print quality when I sent the same file to a few different labs for a back to back test. For a similar service to Photobox I prefer DSCL, but if you want a really high quality print (albeit more expensive) Loxley are great.
Yes I've tried photobox and along with snap fish, I don't find the results particular good enough for a framed item. Maybe just me being fussy perhaps.
Good tip on Loxley, not heard of them before, and some really nice looking photo books.
I've come across DSCL, but never used them, they were looking like my number one choice if I couldn't get any recommendations.

I use http://www.theprintspace.co.uk/ not the cheapest by any means but I really cant fault them. Excellent quality, quick delivery and great customer service in my experience.
I use a small local printer, Norton Frame and Print, they're fantastic. http://www.nortonprintandframe.com/
