Polaroid XS100 - any good?

Hi guys,
I need to get myself a waterproof camcorder for a windsurfing holiday coming up. Ive been looking around and whilst a gopro appears to be the default choice I dont fancy spending hundreds on something that could be lost to the seabed. After some further digging around ive come across the polaroid XS100, just over 100 quid and it is 1080 hd and comes with all the mounts, leads and features I need. Whilst it ticks my boxes i no nothing about the technical aspect, are they any good??

Doubt you'll see anything wrong with the video quality.

We used to stock some of the Polaroid cameras. Had some reliability issues (hence not selling them any more) and the mounts were quite weak for heavy duty work.

I believe the XS100 is 'very similar' to the first ION camera.
