I'm thinking of buying my 15 year old daughter a digital camera for Christmas - any suggestions?

She's not into photography, so just a p&s will do. Budget is around £150, but she lives in Australia so I'll have to order from an Australian website (I'm sending other presents by post from here, but it's far from cheap ).

*Ideally* I'd like a package, ie. camera, battery/charger, memory card. I'm a Nikon chap, but any brand will do.

Cheers

Nice - $379, or £157. Cheers for that.

Any others that you'd recommend or are they not worth bothering with under £150?

I've got a Fuji finepix A205s. It was only £100 and I've had some really good results with it.

Pictures on my profile were taken with it.

You can also take small video clips.

That Fuji's not available, but the A330 is, at $279, or £113. Looks good, thanks for that Doesn't appear to be able to use memory cards/sticks though?

(Still don't know which one to get )

Think thats the one up from mine and includes night shot and speed shot. Have a look at this links as it gives all the technical spec www.dealtime.co.uk/xPF-Fuji_FinePix_A330
