Good to hear it
At least i know what all the buttons on my Canon do now and how to find what i want easily.
Things seem to reveal themselves and fall into place over time.
Keep at it is my best advice.

And a spare battery, circular polarizing filter and remote control wont go amiss. All available on E Bay for next to nothing. There are also a few SB-600 on there cheap. Ideal for using with an SB-800 Will the spending never end

You aren't kidding! Ebay should be banned! It is a very dangerous place to browse, trust me on this one

Indeed I have. x3 512mb cards and a Nikkor 80 - 200 F2.8 ED lens. Fortunately I have been out bid on a few other items.

Looking at getting a spare battery and a decent wide angle lens. My F50's 35 - 80mm will do whilst I'm learning for now. A Speedlight is also on the list. And some filters, a Tripod, oh, and a new printer and .......
