Fancy a free A2 print, then head on over to www.epson.co.uk/4000sample/ and register your details, then send a print off and wait for your free sample printed on a Epson Stylus PRO 4000, you can choose the paper you would like it printed on also.
I registered a couple of weeks ago and got an A2 print of one of the Monster Mob Ducatis and I have to say I am very impressed with it

According to the site A2 is 420 x 594 mm I do know somebody who created a montage of a few photos to get the required size

Thanks for the link, very useful as I have someone wanting a poster right from me right now! What paper would you recomend for a car poster? I chose semi-gloss but I guess it can be changed.

I will be using a larger copy of this picture: www.philsherwin.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/IMG_2532.jpg

Thanks for posting this, it's brilliant! I'm now going to do a little montage, get it sent off and then hey presto, a nice christmas present for my Mrs that I can pretend cost me a fortune!

I chose the Premium Glossy Photo Paper - 250 for a high res version of this photos and like I said earlier was really impressed with the quality. I could be tempted to buy one of these printers if they weren't £1800

The Epson 2100 is pretty much the same printer under the skin, just smaller (A3 output), and is much cheaper!

It depends on how big your original image is, but I'd suggest scanning at the highest optical resolution that you can if you want to print at A2.

You'll need a minimum of 2976x4209 pixels - any more than this is a bonus as it will allow you to use a higher resolution for printing (300dpi is optimum).

If your photo is 5x7 inches, then you'll need to use at least 600dpi, although you'd get better results by scanning the original slide/negative and this would need a res of at least 3200dpi
