There is a Nikon 500mm f4 AF-S for 2200 being advertised on ebay right now. It is a scam and it tries to get you to transfer the money to a bank account.
Just thought I would put the warning out there, I have contacted ebay customer services but they don't seem to care.
Looks like ebay finally pulled it ! It was disturbingly convincing though, very nasty, clicking the link put you through to a completely different page with hijacked buy it now buttons, false seller information etc.
I remember a spate of similar ads when the D3 came out. Silly prices, Hotmail addresses in the text and seller feedback that was household not camera dealer = hacked accounts.
