Anyone one here in the business or come across any new cars while going about there daily business?

Saw quite a few this summer, not looking for them particularly but I was staying around Birmingham/Coventry area. I think they were mainly Land Rovers and Jags but of course its dificult to tell.

I live quite near to the Gaydon test track that the Ford Special Vehicles Group (Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston) use for testing. Often see cars on the roads around before their launch, but I have also have never got a photo. I have recently seen heavily disguised versions of (I think) the new Discovery (before it was launched) and the Aston V8. The main problem is that it is hard to guess what they are at the time, it is only when they finally get launched that you find out.

When BMW owned Gaydon, they were much less worried about things, I saw the first BMW Mini with no disguise about a year before the launch, and in the three months before the launch they would just be parked up on the streets in the local towns with nothing to hide what they were.
