Selling my photos

Bit of help please chaps, I photographed an incident yesterday and a local paper are interested in the images I took.

How much should I charge them? This is local press BTW, nothing worthy of national news.

They are decent images, taken on my DSLR with a good lens.

I would have thought they would have a set price for photos from members of the public?

They asked me how much I want for them. I have no idea and I don't want to sell myself short.
