Right.. lets ignore Panasonic DVD RAM format, although I gather it's excellent. Havent got it, so it doesnt count.
So, DVD-R and DVD+R....
My Cambridge Audio DVD recorder doesnt work with +R. It uses +RW ( I use these a re writing is great), and it also uses +R the instructions tell me. Havent got any +R disks yet, but write once & should play on another player, again I'm told. Is this so? What format to domestic player prefer? +R or -R. I've promised VMAX CraigW a DVD of all my edits, but want to be sure I get it write. If I need to make a -R I'll have to use the computer and it more work, lazily speaking
any experts out there ?
cheers
Ed

Eh?
Anyway, what you need to do to get past the +/- divide is to *finalise* the disk. It will then be DVD Video and compatible with most players, + or -.
