Taking car pics using puddles?
Discussion
Hi
I admit to being a photography novice at best but since I got my cybershot camera, I have been trying to take a few decent shots!
I tried to take a picture of my car using the "puddle technique" whereby you park the car in front of a puddle and take a picture so that the car's reflection is shown in the puddle.
Personally I think this looks really cool when it comes out right and the one in my profile came out OK as a first attempt. But it was a bit dark, puddle not big enough etc etc!
Does anyone have any further advice on how to take good photos using the "puddle technique?" Any feedback appreciated, even stuff like the size of the puddle!!
Cheers!

Err... not sure how helpful this'll be but, and it depends on the distance from car t'puddle, make sure the camera is focused on the reflection rather than the puddle (bottom of the puddle etc). Something to do with the distances the light is travelling - but it is something to look out for.

Very droll. That picture reminds me; I must get myself a softbox and remote shutter release
