I have been given the task of finding a 10D for a birthday in Feb.
She wants a 10D.
Where can I get a cheap one, as I think they have been discontinued now.
Anyone with any ideas please.
If you sell them, pls email me.

seriously I'd try for a 20D - unless you want to buy my 10D for the price of a 20D?

Park Cameras have it. Can't comment on the price though, it's above my budget so I'm studiously ignoring it's existence, along with the 20D etc etc.

A gurnsey based internet company 7dayshop.com has them on special offer at the moment. I dodn't remember the price off the top of my head but they are generally cheap. I just brought a 20D from them and it turned up on-time etc...

If you want a 10D try 7dayshop. They have them for £699 at present. I can heartily recommend it and don't think the extra for the 20D is actually worth it.

Edited to add: Bugger should read other posts first.

I mostly agree with this (the difference seeming to be about 400 quid), BUT...

The extra burst mode capability and, more importantly, the better focussing system could mean the difference between getting a shot and not.

There were times when the 10D left me a bit stranded and I think a 20D would have coped better.
