What did Santa bring you ?!

I spoke too soon - the family got me a Lee Foundation Kit, 77mm adapter ring, 0.9 hard edged grad and a Big Stopper. Very very chuffed, but I cocked up - I had the 0.9 grad saved on my wish list and had the wrong size. Pretty sure this is the one I want?

Can't wait to start playing with the Big Stopper, even without the grad.

I'm edging towards my long time wish list dweller, the 135mm f/2 but Santa couldn't quite justify it. He got me closer though!
Come on Rob - you've been on about that lens for about the last 3 years! You've earned yourself another compliment Mike. The sunset in your last shot is cracking - stunning light.

Not Father Christmas, but I bought something with present money that I have wanted for a long long time - A Nifty Fifty (f1.8)!
Going back to a prime lens feels just like "driving" my old film SLR again, and that's no bad thing! Of course, as fate would have it, I seem to have acquired a horrible cold which makes my bones creak like a 1971 MGB's suspension, so I'm probably not going to be able to play for a few days. Bah!
Incidentally: £59:40 from Currys with 20% sale discount.

Great price. Gotta love the 50mm. I got one recently for my EOS M and I've taken some lovely shots of my kids.Going back to a prime lens feels just like "driving" my old film SLR again, and that's no bad thing!
