Apologies if I've already posted these (I post on several forums).

All on Fuji Velvia 50, the vignetting is the digital wide lens I had on (didn't see it in the viewfinder, the shutter must see a bit more). They're all taken on various points around the Snake Pass and the Peak District.

Nice shots, but I don't like the tyre tracks in the snow. Couldn't you have hired a crane?

Martin.

5th down my favourite. Composition leads the eye to the car in the middle, maybe try a crop with a little less foreground? Also just looks a little underexposed on my screen, and it looks like there is a slight blue cast.

Hope this helps

I was gonna say the same thing. It's the only bitch about photographing cars in the snow... the tire tracks look crap on photos.

Alternatively, park the car in summer... come back in winter and take photos then!

Nice photos

One moan is that I hate pictures of cars with the wheels turned in a way that shows tyre tread to the camera as done above.

IMO you should always keep the wheels straight or have the alloy wheel facing the camera instead of the tyre tread!

Au contraire, I prefer the wheels lookin out; more aggressive I think. Coming forwards into the frame etc.

As a rule I'd only do this either head-on or in profile, or unless the car is in motion.
