Sony dsc hx-300 disaster
Discussion
So I got this camera for Christmas and have started to play around with it. So far so good. Took some photos yesterday and accidentally set it to aperture priority shooting and didn't set the aperture. Loaded the photos onto the computer and they are full of black lines especially around the mouth and body edges. Any ideas how to correct this or is it a lost cause?
erm, I think you can relax... that just looks like a picture effect mode!
You have accidentally turned on 'Illustration mode'!

Edit: I'm guessing this thread is a wind up??

No not a wind up, just Got a camera smarter than I am!
before I settle the invoice, anyone know if the effect can be reversed?
How to change it is in the link above.before I settle the invoice, anyone know if the effect can be reversed?
I fear the pictures you have already taken are likely a lost cause unless you were shooting RAW (which I doubt).

I don't think the Sony saves 2 copies of the photo, so I"m afraid the photos you have are all you have with no 'normal' version.before I settle the invoice, anyone know if the effect can be reversed?
It cannot be revered.
Just turn the setting off and start again
