I own a commercial vehicle dealership and we video all our stock for sale - im looking to find if there is such a thing as a video camera that can upload directly to YouTube via 4g without uploading via a PC as our broadband / upload speed is dreadful . I can upload my video via 4g on my iphone6 but the quality is very poor and I cant pause the recording when required .

Many thanks once again to the PH community :-)

Step back time...

Does it actually benefit you/help sales? Has anyone said 'I came to see this vehicle because of the video?' As a potential buyer I just want to see what the thing looks like, inside and out, quickly. A video takes too much time to watch. I never watch them; it will be a wobbly shot of some bloke walking round a car...

I would never consider not taking the videos - they work wonders .

We do this at work via the CitNOW system.

You're right - it does work.

You won't find a camera with built in 4G, however if you can get 4G where you are, simply create a WIFI hotspot from your phone?

The Samsung Galaxy camera series might do what you're after. They allow you to pause video recordings and they have 3g and run android- however I'm not sure if there is a 4g model.

look for a camera with Wi-Fi / NFC Control and Data Transfer.

Download iMovie for iOS (you will need an iPhone)

Sap video from camera over to phone, edit on phone, upload to youtube using G4

Job done smile

PS double check what formats work with iMovie, some won't.

Update,

My Sony A7 won't transfer video by Wifi so double check on that... (you could use a sd card adapter though)

However, just messing around with imovie on the phone and it's very very easy to use.... really easy to trim clips, join them together and upload to youtube.

Our experience is that customers are non fussed on video quality from a iPhone. The main issue is audio, get hold of one of these:

Just take your time and be smooth.

Also, just had a look at your videos, they look good.

I'd also look at showing the inside of the vehicles and perhaps the service history?
