I was just going through my pictures of last year's holiday the wife and I spent touring Northern Spain.

What a great trip.

I love this picture, despite it having been taken at the wrong time of day...you take the pictures you the opportunity to take.

Where is that? I live near Marbella on the Costa del Crime...err...I mean Costa del Sol.

Lovely pic Don but I think you have a CCD problem with your camera. There are a bunch of red pixels showing near the middle just up from the bottom forming a blobby type shape?
Shame really if it were me I'd have parked my sports car in that exact spot

Place called Santillana del Mar which is a bit South and West of Santander.

And the hotel was absolutely fantastic. We got the most enormous suite with our own huge shady balcony. Fantastic little mediaeval town. The old parts (where the hotel is) don't allow cars - so you have to be staying at the hotel to be allowed to drive up the little cobbled streets to the hotel...
