Just browsing the news feed on my mobile and came across this article, and noticed the credit against the picture of the pine martin (I thought I'd seen it before)!

Edit - and the otter picture too!

In my defence it was just a random news feed article. I wasn't actually browsing on their website, honest!

I like the idea of 'rewilding'. But of course the moment a child (for extra emotional appeal) gets bitten by a wolf they'll all be shot...

Why not?

Wolves are much rarer & better for an environmental balance.

One simply needs to get the wolf:child ratio into a natural, sustainable equilibrium.

Most of the children will be eaten, but a few will grow big enough to wield a club and kill a wolf for food. You can't get more naturally organic eco sustainable than that!

Hang on there.

Doesn't the wolf nurture a couple of brothers until they're old enough to start an empire?

I think the wolf is key here!
