Only one camera? Poor show old chap!

I would love to but can't imagine I'd get any chance to use a camera bringing a 4 month old and 2 year old with me, and certainly the wife will make her feelings known if I try to skip out and leave her holding the babies! Sorry...

Your challenge sir is to make England look as good as NZ... it will be very interesting to see what a good landscape tog can make of a new environment in limited time and dubious weather!

Apparently Briston is in north Norfolk - so if you can hire a car and go south about 30 miles you can have a jolly on HMS Simpo (near Ely).

This is a family trip more than anything otherwise I would be up your way in a shot! So love to shoot Scotland!

It's a different Rob Dickinson that's related to Bruce, right?

Essex is a county of two halves. You have the st London half, and the nice country bit in the north and east verging on 'Constable country', and coast too.

But you see Rob, if Essex was home to the Grand Canyon and had great sunsets everyday, a monkey could take good photos of it. The challenge is the hunt!

Any idea of the kind of things you'd like to shoot? Bristol's got a good selection of well-known landmarks, or if you go further afield it's not far to the Cotswolds, Stonehenge / Avebury or even South Wales.

Alternatively, if you want to try some studio stuff you're welcome to drop by.

Probably not studio stuff smile Tried it, useless at it

I heard theres some bridges around? Not sure really not looking for anything in particular just to get out and shoot something, might need to by then!

Unfortunately the Clifton Suspension Bridge has some scaffolding on it at the moment, but there might be an angle where you can avoid it.

The Second Severn Crossing can look pretty good, and only a couple of miles from Thornbury.

If you come to Essex I'll mosey on over and say hello as I'm next door in Hertfordshire. Good luck taking a landscape worthy of sharing with your FB fans who have developed a certain expectation of standard. hehe
