Does anyone have any guides if you can do this on lightroom or advice on a specific piece of software that will do this?

Ive got a group of photos that id like to combine into an A4 size photo just no idea how to do it.

In lightroom you can do this in the Print tab. Print it to a .jpg when you've got what you want.

I would set up a separate collection and copy the photos you want to use into there so you can make adjustments to then ad you go, without messing with the original photos.

Lightroom is a bit limited for this, particularly if you want text in there, but its pretty good considering this isn't what it's designed to do.

Thanks I'l have a play with it. I don't want to have any text in it I just want a way to join a few collections of photos such as below.

As has been said use the print to jpg feature in the print module.

It's designed as a print to paper module so you need to work around it if you are producing the file to use online.

Set the page attributes first. Once you've set it to print file you can adjust the page size by ticking the custom page size. If you set the reslution to 100PPI it makes caluclating the final file size simple (i.e. 8"x10" would produce a 800x1000 pixel image). You can also adjust the ppi back to 300 if you then want to print to paper without having to change the layout.

Use the custom layout style if you want to have different sized cells for your images or the single image/contact sheet if you want them all the same size

What's the name for this sort of collage where each "pixel" of the first image is actually a separate image?
