I'm hoping to get to the Ty-Croes circuit this Friday. My son will there with his Superlight R300. Any recommendations for good vantage points for photography? I've not been there before.

I'll be taking a 300mm F2.8 with tele-extenders, 70-200mm and an 85mm F1.4 for (hopefully), some arty-farty shots. I'm probably more looking forward to the photography, than the passenger laps. It was scary enough in his Exige Type R!

Haven't been there for a few years, but as I remember pretty much anywhere in the spectator areas are pretty accessible for photography. It's worth getting up to the top of the circuit as you should be able to get some angles with the sea in the background.

Sounds good Mike; thanks. Always on the lookout for shots for the Camera Club competitions too, so some with sea in the background might be good. If I get anything half-decent I'll post a few!
