Panoramic Shots
Discussion
Had a go at taking a panoramic shot with my new IXUS 500 whilst skiing recently. Used the Canon stitch program to put them together - came out quite nicely?
Click here for the full size picture (Its looking away from Mont Blanc over towards the Matterhorn which you can just see ar right)
You can see the joins if you know where you are looking. Should try the same with my 300D pictures
Also got a nice shot of Mont Blanc in normal mode

Lovely shot - the Canon stitch program is quite good isn't it!
If you use www.panoramafactory.com panorama stitching is a piece of cake.
Thought I'd add a couple - only really as there was no camera involved at all! (a lot off faff with rendering software and photoshop mind... it would have been easier to fly to the Alps)

a wee test a did last year after getting a wider lens. Not a great stitch, but works well & light use of bandwidth iirc
