Thought it was about time we had some more car pictures in the forum Its been a little while since I've posted here, so go easy on me!

The NSX on a foggy Tuesday morning

My favourite. An R33 Skyline at "an undislosed location"

That Skyline again....

Late model Lotus Esprit, still looking good after all these years

Very nice. I especially like the 5th Gallardo shot (against the hedge) it reminds me of the kind of shots that EVO magazine use.

Top work fella.

Love the shots in the underground car park.
How did you take those?
I am looking to do a few to test out the "night" functions of my new camera.

Well done!

Thanks Matt Wish I'd had more time with the Gallardo - although I had it for a few days most of the pics were done in 2 hours on Sunday morning. The "photoshoot" in the underground car park was 10 mins on the way to work

Must be more prepared, must be more prepared

that "undisclosed location" wouldn't happen to be the top gear test track would it? The other track types look very much like that place

And that garage, is it the same one Graham.J used in his shots of the Civic Type R and the bike?

Nice shots either way

Great pics as usual, I like them all.
I think there are two that really stand out however.

The first one is the Golf GTI, I can't point to one thing that I think makes it better than the others, but the sunset, soft colours and general composition just feels right. Only one thing I'd change - remove the marshall post, it clutters up the horizon....

The second to last of the Gallardo is brilliant! Defintely one that I wish that I'd taken. I love the way that the car and arrow point the same way and the lights on the car and in the ceiling of the car park compliments each other. Beautiful composition, well exposed, well chosen angle, visually interesting location, stunning car - great image!

Well done!

I hope not, if there was TD and a Gallardo in Aldershot I'd have expected a visit

Great pics as always Steve, I love the Gallardo shots, especially, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 9

You don't happen to work for a magazine do you? Either that or you're incredibly lucky to get a Gallardo for a couple of days!

TBH, those were the quickest ones I shot - a real last minute job, but I'm very happy with them.
Basically just cranked the ISO up to 800 (any higher and it tends to start graining) and used shutter priority to get the shutter as fast as I could. Then sit as still as poss as I still couldn't get faster than 1/25 on most of them.

Fabulous as always.
Still trying to pick out my favorite one.

And i think you would be honored to know that one of your shots of the Murcielago at Vmax is now embelishing the front of my binder here at school.

I too think the GTi one is super. As are almost oll of the Gallardo ones, I especially like the ones cropped into panos. Good work, as per usual

There are 2 ways I do it in Photoshop, depending on how I want the border.

1. Duplicate the layer and do a precise inner glow however big you want it.

2. Change the canvas colour to black and go to Image > Canvas Size then just increase it, bingo, black border

HTH, don't know if Steve does it any differently.
