I have downloaded the pics from yesterday's Wolds Wazz III (or, with Ted's permission, as Ben aptly said.. SnowHoon) and I know that somehow you can get a link where anyone can view that particular album.

All I can find instructions on is how to send links of individual shots to a mate, or put all the shots in the huge general public forum.

They don't evenm have a helpline... or they do, but they ask for your password as well for some reason, which i would rather not give as I can't see why they need it to reply to an email query?

Any ideas guys?

have also posted this in Photo forum, hope that's ok.

Best thing to do is use photobucket.

Martin.

What I did with my Eurohoon pics was to click the "share album with a friend" link, and then get the link sent to yourself. Then post that link on here!

Al, once the photo's are downloaded, click onto the relevant album, then click onto the relevant picture.

To the right hand side of the picture there is a list. Click on the 'Get Your Link To This Picture'.

The screen will refresh, and you will notice above the picture will be a link, i.e http:blahblahblah.co.uk

Right click on this link & press copy. Then just paste this into your pistonheads message, with [pic] infront of it, and [/pic] at end of it.

Repeat this for all photos you wish to show.

There's 17 of 'em!!!

That's what i normally do for one or two shots, but even that, the link won't retrieve the file from the server? Not having much luck here.

Tony - now that's lateral thinking, no wonder they pay you so much

I had exactly the same problem...uploaded something like 50 photos (which took ages) and then found out I couldn't easily share! Doh!

So come on....get these pics up, I'm curious! (Oh, did you get that picture on Friday night in the end?)

I know how to put a link up - what I want to do is give people access to one of my Fotango albums.

Having said that, i think Fotango is having server problems at the moment.

Webshots Community is pretty good.

It makes a coup d'etat on your desktop (screensaver etc) but at least the pics are full size, and you get a reasonable sized account.

I've used it before, and others do.

Better than Fotango's spaz sizing policy all round.

I went to fotango via a link posted here to hopefully retrieve a photo from bruntingthorpe, only to find nothing apparently worked, not even help etc
Was given webshots to look at recently but am not really sure how to display albums there sadly at the mowww.webshots.com/homepage.html

This is where "The Webshots Desktop" can make life a bit easier - although you have to understand that, as already commented, it tends to want to invade Poland if you download it....

Right guys - try keying this straight into your web search and let me know if it works - no http or www, just key it in as it is!
