Non-Sony Memory Card in a Sony Digital??
Discussion
I am just looking for a bigger 512MB memory card to put into my new sony P120DSC Digital, but do I have to buy the official Sony item?
Best price I can get for the Sony Memory Stick Pro is £48 whereas there are other non-Sony items that are cheaper.
Is it possible to put non-Sony items in there and has anyone tried it?
Thanks

I have a 256Mb (2x128Mb) normal size Lexar Memory Stick in my DSC-U30 and it works fine whether used for photos or data files.
Managed to sort the problem out the long way round!
I am getting a 128 with the camera and my dad has the same in his which he is now selling!
So I have 256 combined from those two, plus a new 256 I have just bought at £24.50 from Amazon.
Should be better also if I lose the photos, fewer to lose from a 128 or 256 than I would were I using a single 512!!

I got a Sandisk Ultra 2 Pro 512 for my DSC-W12. Only about £15 more than the standard Sandisk Pro
