At the end of April a bunch of us are heading upto Cladich - close to Loch Awe for a few days. On our last day we intend to see sunset at about 21:00 and then set off back towards England.

Originally we'd hoped to get as far as the Lakes and stay in / around Penrith for the night - however we've decided it's probably too far.

So we're looking for suggestions of a photographic location in between the two.

Obviously the Loch Lomand area is an obvious one but which bit and where?

We just need somewhere to crash for the night and be up and about for sunrise again with some final photography options / scenery before we again set off for home later that day?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Try the Lodge on Loch Lomond. At Luss on the waters edge.
Cameron House if money no object.
If your only wanting to crash and nothing fancy there is a new travel lodge/premier inn on the A82 at Dumbarton 5 minutes from The Loch. Postcode G82.

Try this place on the banks of the loch. The Culag. Just north of Luss. Lovely self contained cottage type rooms (or room in main house). Breakfasts are amazing.
We booked the whole place for a weekend for my wife's birthday a couple of years back.
