Adapter Confusion
Discussion
I'm wondering if it's just me who gets confused between cameras.
For example, this morning I decided to get my Sony A7RII ready for some snaps at a gallery this evening 1) took off an adapted M lens (90mm) from a previous shoot and forgot which lever releases the adapter, and not the lens. 2) then tried to attach the rear lens cap for the M lens onto the adapter puzzling over why it had shrunk (adapter was still attached) 3) attach the Sony 28 f/2 by turning anti-clockwise which didn't work .. Oh and don't get me started on the mode dial button on the Olympus which toggles between lock and unlock. I think Leica are the most consistent in this respect. Sony just make up sh8t as they go along!

Oh yes! Me too. I end up having no rear cap when changing lenses, losing them, not having them available when I sell a lens and this week buying a Leica R rear cap that ends up only fitting my Leica M lenses. On top of having sold a Leica R 100mm f 4 lens used on the Macro Bellows rail unit thinking I'd use the newer f2.8 version. It doesn't fit! Then the debacle last week when getting the tripod set up and the view camera unpacked to find none of the 3 allen keys I had fitted the tripod mount and attachment. Life could be a lot simpler if I were more sensible :-(
