Canon 1Dx amazing battery life

I took 5300 photos yesterday and battery still shows half capacity
And the battery is well used, I had it for almost two years now and many many thousands of photos.
"Cool story bro", I know, I'm just amazed how good it is...

Canon certainly make some excellent stuff.

My experience with Canon batteries is quite the contrary. I have had 2 genuine batteries for my 7D, one a replacement by Canon for the poor performing original, both of which have only managed half the amount of actuations they claim . My none Canon batteries give much better life.
