Hi

I am a bit confused as to what I need.

I have a Skymax 127 telescope and a Sony A7ii camera.

I want to take picture through the telescope with the camera.

I have looked round the internet and seen a couple of different options, but non are simply explained enough form me.

In general you need an adapter that is compatible with your scope (some adapters fit directly onto the rear cell of the telescope - others replace the 1.25" eyepiece).

Which you go for depends on how you want to image and the specifics of your setup.

You will also need a t-ring that is compatible with your camera.

Point to note - adding a DSLR to the back of a telescope will add significant weight and will seriously unbalance your scope/mount - you may need a counterweight system to re-balance it.

It's not simply a matter of weight - but also leverage. A camera body on an extended camera mount can add significant strain to the mounting points, especially on a small/light scope.

Note I did also say "may need" wink
