Recently upgraded my Nikon and always like having a battery grip. Not just for the increased battery capacity but also I find it increases stability especially with a speed light on the shoe.
Recently went into enquire about a Nikon grip, couldn't believe the shop was selling them new for £259.
I know there are a lot of after market ones, some seem to be as good quality if not better than the original.
Any aftermarket brands I should be looking at?

There was a recent thread about Meike battery grips here:

On the basis of this I took a punt on one and although it's not had a great deal of usage so far it does seem to be ok for the money.
