Hi chaps, I was just wondering if you could help me identify a couple of bits of equipment. I've just been helping my Mum clear out some of my late fathers stuff from the loft, and came across these two pieces.
To me they look to good to throw away so was hoping to stick them on ebay, but I don't know what they are called and what they're for or their value. If they're not worth anything or are obsolete, I'll just try the local charity shop.
Many thanks in advance.

Some sort of shoulder mount for a camera? Looks fully adjustable, made of alloy and plastic, trigger on front pistol grip. Marked GT dynamic holder, Japan on front of pistol grip.

Second one is some sort of copy stand (I can read! smile ), but for copying what? looks like a threaded mount that is height adjustable. Made by Canon, and called copy stand No.4.

First one is a mount for a long telephoto lens. Can be used like a rifle rather than the conventional way. Second one as you say a simple copy stand I would think.

Yes - there used to be a kit based on a Zenith camera called the "Photosniper", and that looks like the handle part of it, or a similar product. You can picture a slightly swarthy foreing-looking baddy using one in an old edition of "The Professionals".

The copy stand is just that, the captive screw screws into the tripod mount on the camera so you can copy documents, magazines etc. Remember when no-one had invented scanners?
