Spent the day in Euston today with "Experience Seminars"
The course was aimed at DSLR newbies like myself but was much more in depth than i anticipated. It covers everything from the specific camera modes, through exposure, aperture, metering, calculating DOF, appropriate lense choices yada yada. Although i'd picked up a lot of this through trial and error it was nice to get a solid technical understanding of more complex subjects like calculating depth of field. Also picking up tips from fellow 20d users and the instructors
It's not cheap at £105 for the day, but i think it's a wise investment for anyone like myself who finds the whole subject difficlut to break down into manageable chunks.
I've now booked myself onto a few more courses, covering composition, flash photography and B&W. Can't wait
