Ok, forgive me if I am being a bit on the slow side, but I have just spotted resident PH snap-addict Trackdemon (or his spunky red NSX at least) gracing the pages of Evo magazine this month.
Congratulations on this new-found glory!
This also means I was right about Bedford being the location of your latest track photos

Guilt yas charged sir! They've actually got me lurking in the background of an embarassingly large amount of shots, black leather jacket with D100 permanently attched to right hand
It was interesting to see juct how different their shot was from mine (its the full page group shot a few pages into the article) in terms of light / exposure. The were taken broadly around the same time with the sun setting in the background - something that I intentionally tried to capture with my shots, whereas they appear to have overexposed a few stops to get lots of colour into the cars, at the cost of losing the sunset itself. Cool to be there and meet Gus & Barry

derestrictor - I don't think he took the photos for Evo (i.e. His name isn't Gus Gregory
) Just his car was appearing in the feature. I must say the photography in Evo is always excellent, I have considered asking if they will take me on as a photography apprentice/tea boy to get myself some experience! At a guess the sunset shots were more of a graphic designers choice than the photographers.
(I was shooting for a mag at Bedford a couple of weeks ago and I have their permission to post up/bore you all with some pics when the magazine gets published

Many thanks Der, alas they did not use my shots in EVO but I believe you've seen a selection of the shots I took on the day in question. With your prose and my camera I wonder if could start out very own motoring tome
Looking forward to VMAX
Perhaps you can take up that long promised drive in the NSX (I wonder if you recall the mention thereof many months ago when it first came into my posession)trackdemon said:Steve, if a passenger runs in the offing I'll be stood behind the man himself in the queue, if thats okay?

How can I get my good self and my camera in to VMax?? ![]()
I have been to Bruntingthorpe before and there is no spectating there, entrants only as far as I know?!
I'm afraid its a closed event Phil, only way is to blag a ride with one of the attendees (unfortunately most people will have passenger seats well and truly filled by now).
