I've seen them go for more than that second hand on ebay so if you don't shift it here you wont struggle to get that price on ebay.

I would be very, very interested to hear your thoughts on your new lens versus your old one. I have the "G" lens myself - as I could not justify the extra money at the time given the "hobby" status of my photography...
