I've seen this kind of thing run on other forums (fora??) as competitions but not going to those lengths, what are peoples thoughts on maybe having a monthly "theme" thread...?
A theme is suggested and people can post a pic or two with their interpretation of it and some basic info on the shot, compositional thoughts, techniques used perhaps...
I think it would be interesting to see how the different people on here approach different things and it may even be educational for the learners amongst us with the more experienced and skilled people offering tips and critiques as well as examples...?

It'll resize any image to 700 wide so it can be viewed on here and will also resize to 1280 for viewing on that site.
I've enabled comments and the ability to do a critique style vote so if it gets used, it could get interesting, votes revealed at the end of the month..?
So... do people want to use that or just do their own thing?

"People at work" ???

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with your site, but...
I think it would be better if we just submitted a maximum of one photo each of a theme onto a thread then just chatted about them rather than a structured critiqing(?) setup.

I quite like the idea though - sort oflike they do on dpchallenge but with the pistonheads massive involved.
In the absence of any other suggestions, people at work seems fine to me. What are the rules? Existing photos or only new photos allowed?
