Saw these on the way to buy some bread today (I was buying the bread, not them
) and couldn't resist some snaps.

I'm pretty pleased with the composure - they were very hard to get near as they were calving (and had pointy horns).
I used manual exposure settings and struggled a bit - the two of the calf are washed out. I struggled to keep the detail in, and not overexpose. Hey-ho its all a learning curve!

They look pretty good to me. Nothing exposure wise that could not be adjusted in 'processing'.

Not sure if that was closer to what you saw, but it would be easier to play if I had the original image. It took 2 mins with highlights and midtones, and then taking the colour saturation back down a bit.
