Last year I sold my Canon 5d mk2 and all my lenses and equipment as I had to raise cash. My wife has now said she would like to treat me to a new camera for Xmas. Budget would be £1000-£1500.

Since selling all my gear I have taken no notice as to what is around at moment, although I have had a look at a friends Fuji XT1? I am not looking to go back to DSLR again at moment, but would prefer something with changeable lenses.

What should I be looking at please?

Think you have the answer already smile

There's an XT2 now so the XT1 should be a bit cheaper - it's still a great camera (and the XT2 will push your budget)

Plenty of nice lenses to go with it depending on what interests you?

X-T10 is worth a look if you're considering an X-T1, basically the same camera for quite a bit less.

The EVF on the X-T1 is worth the price hike alone......

But if you want something small (and have small hands), the the X-T10 will save you some £££££

Go for this and spend the balance on glass. That way you can upgrade to an xt2 in future if funds allow.

ETA. I have large hands and powerfully built sausage fingers and have no trouble using the xt10 and I have in the past favoured larger cameras.

Thanks everyone, looks like XT1 favourite at the minute. Might see if I could push for a XT2, I have even bought her an old fashioned Toblerone today.
